Trying To Pull The Drum Out...
. . . I first cut my finger on the back panel edge while trying to pull the drum up out of the bearing socket. I then unscrewed the bearing plate from the back of the drum (three screws on the inside smaller diameter). It was difficult to stand on the washer lid edges and pull the drum up and out. Once it was out, I needed a helper to hold the rear bracket up to the holes in the back panel while I put the screws in from the front side of the back panel to hold the new bracket in place. Screwing the new bearing plate onto the back of the drum made it relatively easy to drop the drum into the new bearing socket. Once that was done, buttoning up was easy and installing the new belt onto the tensioning wheel was not a problem.

Loud Squeaky Dryer
Not that difficult of a repair, just be safe and shut off the dryer and washer from your fuse box. All I did was replace the rear bearing and my dryer is quiet as ever now :) Make sure to buy some high temperature grease at an auto shop (less than $5). [1] First take off the screws on the top of the dryer and remove the metal top plate. T hen remove the screws by the front panel(where all the controls are). [2] Remove the entire front off by pulling away from the sides. There are metal clips that hold it in place, so pull it until it snaps off. [3] Open the back panel at the back of the dryer and remove the belt from around the pulley and motor.(Make sure you remember how to reattached the belt for reassembly). Now you are ready to remove the main drum. [4] For this part you can either remove the entire drum by lifting it out from the top...or it is easier to unscrew the 3 centermost screws inside of the drum to disconnect it from the rear bearing. [5] If you unscrewed those 3 screws and took out the drum, there should be a round plate attached to a ball joint that is sitting inside the rear bearing. Slide the ball joint up and out to remove it. [6] Now use a wrench or pliers to remove the small metal bracket in front of the bearing. There is also a small metal bracket on the back of the dryer right where the bearing mounts. Once you unscrew the 2 bolts, the bracket in the back should be loose enough and fall right off. [7] Now you can simply remove the rear bearing and replace with the new one. [8] Grease the new bearing and mount back in the rear of the dryer using the 2 bolts and brackets you just removed. [9] To make it easier to put the drum back in, screw the round plate with the ball joint back onto the back of the drum. [10] Make sure the belt is around the drum with groove side downwards. [11] Lower the drum back in from the top and make sure the ball slides into the rear bearing. [12] Realign the belt and go to the back panel and reattach the belt the pulley and motor. [13] At this point you are basically done and its only a matter of putting all the screws and panels back :)

Dryer was squealing badly due to worn out rear bearing
I pulled the plug and pulled the dryer out from the wall a little bit but did not have to remove the rear exhaust hose. I removed the top cover and then the front panel with the door. I was able to reach under the dryer to disconnect the belt from the pulleys. Then I had to lift up a bit to get the drum out of the old bearing and then pul led the drum and belt out of the front of the machine. This exposed the rear bearing that can be removed via the screws. Be careful not to lose the BB that is housed behind the bearing. Once the rear bearing was removed I replaced with a new rear bearing and added some high temp automotive grease to the BB behind the bearing and to the metal bearing that is on the back of the drum. From here you button the dryer back up and should be squeal free like me.

The Rear Bearing was about 99% worn through and the Rear Bearing shaft support was completly worn off
Removed the Top, the front door, and the drum and drive belt Then I removed the old Rear Bearing. I then removed the rear Bearing Shaft Support from the rear of the drum. When the new parts arrived, I reassembled the machine in reverse order.
