Product Description
This genuine OEM bake element is located on the bottom of the oven cavity to supply heat for baking. The approximate size is 19-1/2 inches wide by 18-1/2 inches long and has 3-1/2 inch inserts. The element terminals are male quarter inch spade connectors and have push-on wire terminals. If your oven is not heating evenly, the element will not heat, or there is little to no heat when baking, you may need to replace the element. Please remember to disconnect the power to your oven before you start your repair. Next, remove the 2 screws securing the old element, pull it out, and discard. Connect the new element prongs where the old element fit and screw it back in place. This is a very simple repair that anyone can do.

I REPLACED THE HEATING UNIT FOR THE BAKING PART OF THE OVEN AND IT DOES NOT HEAT WITH NEW UNIT INSTALLED. IS THERE A FUSE OR SOMETHING THAT MAY BE CAUSING IT TO NOT HEAT UP??

If it is not causing the issue, you need to replace the Control Board, part number FIX12114577, to fix the issue. We hope this helps! Wife complained that oven was taking an unusaully long time to heat for baking.
1. Removed two (2) small sheet metal screws that secured the heating element to the rear of the oven. 2. Slid element out about four inches (4"). 3. Unplugged the two (2) spade connectors. 4. Removed old element. 5. Installed new element in reverse order.
Very simple. Turn off breaker to range. Remove 2 (ea) #8 screws,pull element out, remove the 2 spade connectors. Install 2 spade connectors to new element, push into position, install 2(ea) #8 screws,turn breaker to range on & ops check; good to go.
Simply unscrewed the two tabs at the back of the oven that are attached to the bottom burner element, pulled out the element which was attached to the wiring with quick clip connectors, detached the connectors and reattached the new element, and then screwed it back in. Turned on the oven and it worked like a charm.
Turned power off to unit. Removed the 2 screws holding heating element on to back wall. Gently pulled element ends out of back wall exposing wire clips that make the connection. Pulled off clips, cleaned bottom of oven, put clips on new element, gently pushed wires back into unit, re-attached the screws. Turned power back on to unit. Ran

1.Pull stove away from wall. 2.Unpug power cord 3.Using nutdriver, remove two screws holding element to oven wall. 4.Separate element from wiring by simply pulling the wires with "push- on" connections from element. 5.Reverse process to install new element.
Instruction video very helpful but we did need to buy different terminals as the ones on our oven were a little different. after replacing the terminals everything else was just like the video.
