Hi Terry,
Thank you for your question. There are 4 gas valve assemblies listed under your model number. The part numbers listed under your model number for the 2 natural gas valve assemblies are 80D0001 and 230-0710. The part numbers listed for the 2 propane valve assemblies are 80D0002 and 37D0118. The propane valve assembly, part number 37D0118, has been discontinued by Majestic and if this is the valve assembly you need, you will need to contact them for information on a replacement. If they provide you with a part number for a replacement gas valve, you may contact us back with it and we will verify if we have it available for you. If you would like to place an order for one of the available gas valve assemblies, you may order it either online or by calling our customer service line and anyone will be happy to assist you. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.
I have the 600DVMNSC fireplace. I think my valve is stuck, not letting enough gas through. Normally it clicks a few times when you start it up. Now it clicks twice and doesn't light the pilot or fire. Would replacing it fix the problem described below?
It stopped working after a -4 degree morning. I leave the pilot lit in winter. Pilot was still running but I couldn't get the fire started. The bottom of my fireplace gets cold (bad insulation) but the pilot keeps the box warm enough, but not when it's -4 degrees. When I the control off and back on, it wouldn't send gas to the pilot. Sparker was working fine, so I think the controls are fine. I think it got so cold under the firebox that it froze up the valve or solenoid. Does it sound like replacing the valve would fix the problem?

Hi Dan, thank you for the question. Based on the description you have provided, the issue could be with the gas valve assembly, part number FIX10410703. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Too Complex and Unreliable
I've bought 2 of these valves for a Majestic 36" double sided Designer Series Gas Fireplace (model STLDVP...) with a power vent and Signature Command System electronics. The main gas valve solenoid sticks and doesn't allow the gas pilot flame to extinguish, which is needed to be able to start the fireplace up again. I have to thump the glass fireplace pane each time I want the flame to extinguish. The solenoid is not mechanically robust and/or there's a problem with the electrical current going to the solenoid. I've been told these valves and electrical control components have been a nightmare and haven't been put into fireplace units for several years.
