This is an authentic agitator for your washer, responsible for moving clothes inside the tub. Please note, it does not come with the fabric dispenser, so you will need to either transfer the old one to your new agitator or order it separately. While troubleshooting and before ordering this part, we recommend also inspecting the condition of the agitator coupler. For this simple repair, remove the old agitator by pulling it upwards. If it is difficult to remove, try placing straps underneath to pull it out. Lower the new agitator down onto the coupler, making sure it is lined up properly, and then push down on it until it snaps into place.

Also known as an agitator drive belt, this part is used to connect the transmission drive shaft to the base of the agitator. Over time, the teeth on the coupler will wear out and the part will need to be replaced. Signs that you will need to replace this part include your washing machine making a noisy grinding sound, the washer will not agitate or spin, and it excessively shakes or moves while running. This kit includes a coupler, gasket, and bolt. Please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your washer before beginning this repair.

Fabric Softener Dispenser

This part is a replacement fabric softener dispenser for your washer. If your washer will not dispense fabric softener or detergent, or will not agitate, you may need to replace the dispenser. When it is working, the dispenser releases fabric softener during the wash cycle. You can find the dispenser screwed in to the top of the agitator. To replace the dispenser simply unscrew it, and replace it with a new one. This is an OEM part, and is sold individually.
